3D打印技术是一种以3D数字模型为基础,通过逐层打印可粘合材料方式来构造物体的技术,3D打印已经在日常生活、医学、工业生产中取得了广泛应用.本课程以设计与实践为主,学生可以在电脑面前完成三维建模设计,然后通过3D打印机完成零件制作,不需要复杂的工艺、庞大的机床就容易将创意、想象变为现实,让学生在创新能力和动手实践能力上得到训练。课程实践主要通过对汽车变速箱零件齿轮、拨叉等零件的打印与装配,让学生了解变速箱的基本工作原理,了解常用机械传动机构,从而锻炼学生逻辑思维能力和基本的工程素养。

3D printing technology is a kind of technology based on 3D digital model, which constructs objects by printing bondable materials layer by layer. 3D printing has been widely used in daily life, medicine and industrial production. This course focuses on design and practice. Students can complete three-dimensional modeling design in front of the computer, and then complete the production of parts through the 3D printer. It is easy to turn creativity and imagination into reality without complex technology and huge machine tools, so that students can be trained in innovation and practical ability. The course practice is mainly through the printing and assembly of gear, fork and other parts of automobile gearbox, so that students can understand the basic working principle of gearbox, understand the common mechanical transmission mechanism, so as to exercise students'logical thinking ability and basic engineering literacy.
